Dr. Alice Cristina Barbu

Dr. Alice Barbu is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, with a solid background in fertility and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. She graduated from the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Surgery and completed her residency at the "Prof. Dr. Panait Sîrbu" Clinical Hospital, one of the most important reproductive medicine centers in Romania.

Specializing in infertility treatment since the early years of her career, Dr. Barbu has extensive experience in assisted reproduction procedures — in vitro fertilization, embryo transfer, intrauterine insemination — and in advanced hysteroscopic interventions to correct uterine factors that influence fertility.

She has attended international training programs, including advanced hysteroscopy courses taught by Prof. Osama Shawki, specializing in modern techniques of uterine correction, treatment of submucous fibroids and reconstruction of the postoperative uterine cavity. She also has experience in monitoring high-risk pregnancies and comprehensive reproductive health assessment.
